“Modernization, improvement base in 2015 spent almost 120 million roubles from Federal and regional budgets. Mount Frosty is located 37 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and just seven kilometers from the main airport of the region, in the town of Yelizovo, which is convenient for local residents and guests of Kamchatka”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

He noted that based installed a new chairlift, visitors will be able to test the track length of 1.8 thousand meters, when you get enough snow.

“A system based on “Frosty” is transformed: there is ample Parking for 300 cars, and completed the installation of the lift, the issue of opening the coffee shop at the top of the mountain, beautiful views. I think that during the Christmas holidays, the inhabitants of the region will see an updated ski resort and spend a wonderful time there,” said the Governor of Kamchatsky Krai Vladimir Ilyukhin.

On behalf of the two regional ministries — education, sports and youth policy — during the school holidays to organise excursions for children to rise to the top of mount Frosty, said the spokesman.
