Measures will be sensitive to the tourism industry and associated with this industry: air carriers, airport farms and so on, said Alexei Ulyukayev.
MOSCOW, 7 Dec. Russian authorities will develop point measures to support industries which will suffer losses due to the economic measures against Turkey, in particular, we are talking about tourism and related fields, announced the Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev.
“For certain sectors of the economy, this, of course, will be sensitive primarily to the tourism industry and associated with this industry: air carriers, airport farms and so on,” Ulyukayev said in an interview with TV channel “Russia 24”.
However, he stressed that it’s still quite a small niche, problems can occur for dozens of companies, but this is not a problem for economic growth, for the state of the economy or social sphere.
“Certainly, we believe that this can be considered a force majeure. Need to develop measures of support point of support for these companies”, — said the head of the Ministry of economic development.
Speaking of the action of the protective measures in respect of food from Turkey, Ulyukayev said that Russia will be able, thanks to the diversification of imports fast enough to balance the situation. “I don’t see any very big risks”, — the Minister added.
He also noted that in respect of the construction projects that Turkish companies carry out the current contracts, they will continue to implement them. These projects are not in danger, said the Minister.
