The Russian foreign Ministry: between Russia and Guyana entered into force the agreement on visa-free regime


MOSCOW, December 7. Between Russia and Guyana entered into force the agreement on mutual visa-free trips of citizens.

This was reported in the Russian foreign Ministry.

“On November 27, 2015 came into force the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana on the conditions of waiver of visa formalities for mutual trips of citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana”, – informed in depodesta.

In accordance with the agreement citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of Guyana, who are the owners of valid passports, entitling to cross the border, can enter, leave, follow transit and abide in territory of other state without visas till 90 days during each period of 180 days from the date of first entry.

“The citizens of one state intending to stay or reside in the territory of another state more than 90 days or to carry out labor or commercial activity on its territory, must obtain a visa in accordance with the laws of the state of entry”, – said the Ministry.

The agreement on conditions of refusal from visa formalities was signed on September 27, 2015 the foreign Ministers of Russia and Guyana Sergei Lavrov and Carl Genicom on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
