Go to the line of low, unstable, but economic growth next year will allow the existing backlog, the head of the Ministry.
MOSCOW, 7 Dec. The Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation sees no grounds for the prediction of weak growth in Russia next year, said Monday the head of the Ministry Alexei Ulyukayev.
“Overall, I think we have the necessary groundwork that will enable us next year to go to the line of low, unstable, but still economic growth,” Ulyukayev said on the TV channel “Russia 24”.
“Of course, I would like to see differently is built the structure of the budget, I would like to see the budget more focused on productive, that is, spending to support the economy, human capital development, education, health care, Foundation for economic and social development, here is something to think about and work on to optimize,” said the Minister.
“Of course, we would like to see more results (this year — ed.)… would Like to see less inflation, more economic growth, would like to see the real incomes of the population, not the decline, as now”, — said Ulyukayev.
According to him, the Ministry’s forecast came true almost exactly. “We have a forecast accuracy up to a tenth — forecast inflation of 12.2%, may be two-tenths more — 12,4-12,5%, the downturn of 3.9% (forecast) will be at 3.7%, which is two-tenths better than Vice versa,” enumerated the Minister.
