FAS continues to oppose the granting Gazprom the right to give discounts


MOSCOW, December 8. FAS continues to oppose the granting Gazprom the right to give discounts to consumers. This was during a speech at the forum “Gas of Russia 2015” said Deputy Minister Anatoly Golomolzin.

“The Ministry of energy proposes to grant this right, we but these proposals are not supported”, – he said.

According to golomolzina, exchange trade in gas makes these discounts are unnecessary. “From the moment we introduce off-exchange indicators of prices in the domestic gas market, we will receive the understanding of the balance between supply and demand on the market,” he added.

As reported, earlier the company declared that the discussion on granting Gazprom the right to give discounts on gas its customers will continue.

At the end of last year in the FAS said that the idea of granting to Gazprom the right to give discounts on gas to their customers while frozen, as running a gas exchange trades.

“Gazprom” repeatedly offered to provide an opportunity for companies to give discounts to the price of gas for its consumers.
