MOSCOW, 8 Dec. Gazprom is working with Iranian colleagues the issues of exchange operations on gas to supply natural gas to Armenia, told journalists the head of the company Alexey Miller following the results of negotiations Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of energy and natural resources of Georgia Kakhaber Kaladze.
Replying to a question raised during the talks with the Georgian side, the issue of gas deliveries to Armenia from Iran, Miller said, “Yes, the issue was raised, we currently with our Iranian colleagues are working on the issue of exchange operations”.
At present, Russian gas is supplied to Armenia through Georgia.
Miller and Kaladze in Luxembourg, discussed the issues of transit of Russian gas through the territory of Georgia and its commercial shipments to the Republic, announced earlier the information Department of Gazprom. In 2014, the group “Gazprom” has put to Georgia with 300 million cubic meters of gas.
In late November, the Iranian oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh announced that Iran is discussing with Russia the details of the agreement on swaps of oil and gas.
