“The Kola shipyard, the construction of which takes place in the framework of the project “Arctic LNG 2″ for the development of Gydan fields. Currently completed the first phase of research on the site to house the centre for offshore structures”, — said the head of the region.

It noted that in 2016, NOVATEK plans to complete the project documentation, and in 2017 — to pass the state expertise, obtaining the construction permit.

The appearance of the Kola shipyards will give a serious impetus to the development of the Murmansk region will create thousands of jobs, attract in the region of highly skilled professionals and enhance the competence of local enterprises.
