MOSCOW, December 8. Gazprom and Iran are working on issues of exchange transactions for gas supplies to Armenia. This was stated by the head of “Gazprom” Alexey Miller after the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of energy and natural resources of Georgia Kakhaber Kaladze, which was held in Luxembourg.
“Yes, the issue was raised, we currently with our Iranian colleagues are working on the issue of exchange operations”, – he told, answering a question was raised whether the issue of gas deliveries to Armenia from Iran in the negotiations on gas transit through the territory of Georgia.
As explained by the information Department of the gas holding, Gazprom and Georgia on Tuesday continued its discussion of the issues of transit of Russian gas through the territory of Georgia and its commercial shipments to the Republic. In 2014, the group “Gazprom” has put to Georgia 0.3 billion cubic meters of gas.
