Onf asks to extend the system of rationing of purchases for state-owned companies

The spread of the system of regulation of public procurement at the state company will save the country billions of rubles, said the head of the project of the Russian popular front “For fair procurement” Anton Guetta.

MOSCOW, 8 Dec. The head of the project of the Russian popular front (onf) “For fair procurement” Anton Guetta has asked Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to extend the system of regulation of public procurement at the state company.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev meets with activists of the popular front. According to the activists, the meeting is held by order of the President of the Russian Federation, the leader onf of Vladimir Putin.

In late November, Putin during the meeting with activists of the popular front discussed the topics related to the fight against corruption and irregularities in public procurement. Following the meeting, the President promised to develop a list of instructions to the relevant ministries and agencies. Co-Chairman of the Central headquarters of the popular front Alexander Brechalov noted that the President supported the position of the movement on almost all issues, especially on final, when talking about the pressure on its activists.

“And the third request is to extend the system of rationing at the state company, because today is exactly the same on a signal of our activists, they take us the top of our list — index of extravagance — and demand rationing. Those are public companies, companies with state participation which operate 223-mu to the Federal law. That is, we believe, will save the country billions of rubles,” — said Guetta.

He added that, however, “today there is a trend that officials are trying to emerge quickly from this index, extravagance, repealing a particular purchase”.
