MOSCOW, 8 Dec./strong>. Twenty Russian companies — manufacturers of building materials, solar panels, plastics and composites, bulbs and other products — has acquired the right to use the sign “Russian nanotechnological production”.

The ceremony of the sign took place in Moscow at the IV Congress of nanotechnology companies held in MIA “Russia today”. Diplomas to representatives of companies presented the Chairman of the Board of the criminal code “ROSNANO” Anatoly Chubais and the head of Rosstandart Alexey Abramov.

As reported in a press release FIEP RUSNANO, the sign confirms quality and safety of the goods, and also the fact that it is made in Russia from Russian raw materials using nanotechnology. Products must be tested for safety for humans and the environment and to have documents confirming the absence of violations of intellectual property rights of third parties. the Decision to award the sign is taken by the Commission with participation of representatives of FIEP, the experts of Rosstandart, and environmental agencies.

The owner of the mark acquires the right to use it for commercial purposes.

The business part of the Congress, which was attended by over 450 people, included a plenary panel and six thematic sessions: leading nanotechnology experts gave presentations on the development of nanotechnology in pharmacology, medicine, construction and other industries. They also discussed the trends of the domestic market in the nanotechnology industry, in particular, focus on import substitution and prospects of export of goods of the Russian technological entrepreneurs, primarily in collaboration with partners in the BRICS and the EEU.

The participants noted the necessity of consolidation of efforts of entrepreneurs, investors and the state in the current economic situation. Business representatives invited to engage actively with relevant committees of the ministries and legislative bodies for the purpose of more effective influence on the formation of regulations in their fields.

A separate discussion was devoted to possibilities of cooperation of small and medium business with the nanocentre created by FIEP RUSNANO. Entrepreneurs learned about the prospects of new infrastructure, in particular on contract development and support of startups, met with successfully implemented over the past year, the projects, the report says.
