The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has called the rally on Bolotnaya square in 2012, a rehearsal of the “Maidan”. The head of the UK reported on a joint meeting of the Advisory and public councils of Investigative management of SK Russian Federation on the Udmurt Republic in Izhevsk.

“You know that it was a rehearsal of the “Maidan” on Bolotnaya square? Under the stage there were tents and tires as it was on the “Maidan”. If it hadn’t stood firm then, here we could be that is happening today in Ukraine,” he said.

Bastrykin invited the head of Udmurtia Alexander Solovyov together with the Investigative Committee of Russia to open in the region of cadet classes for young people, Patriotic education of youth.

The case about mass disorders on Bolotnaya square were initiated following the events of 6 may 2012. For illegal actions were arrested more than 400 people, injured more than 30 police officers. Several dozen people were injured. In total, the main so-called “Bolotnaya case” there were about 30 people. Some of them criminal proceedings were terminated as a result of the Amnesty declared to the 20 anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
