Medvedev does not consider it a hopeless case about beating of the journalist Kashin


MOSCOW, December 9. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev considers that in the investigation of criminal case about beating of journalist Oleg Kashin there is a progress, and it is not hopeless. He said this after an interview in live broadcast Russian TV journalists, answering a question of the TV channel “Rain”.

“Part involved fixed and determined”

“I still think that despite the difficulty of investigating these matters, to say that it is hopeless and no solution were adopted, it would be wrong and unfair,” he said.

“Because of the people involved defined and established; they are either wanted, or even arrested,” – said the Prime Minister. “I always said that here you the President said he would find and bring to justice, but they found it. Partly”, – said Medvedev.

Medvedev stressed that “there is no ban on the activities of the investigation agencies and there can be no”. “Will I ever showed. Oleg Kashin refused to talk with Andrey Turchak

A few months before that, between Kashin and head of the Pskov region Andrey Turchak had a conflict on the Internet. The journalist put to the Governor an insult and refused to apologise.

In September 2015, Kashin reported that the three suspects in the attack worked for him in the protection of the company “Mechanical plant”, which is a holding company “Leninets”. The latter, according to Kashin, belongs to the family of the Governor of the Pskov region Andrey Turchak.
