Oil is rising by 3% amid an unexpected reduction of stocks of raw materials in the USA


The cost of the January futures for North sea Brent blend has grown on 3,09% – to 41,52 dollars for barrel, the price of December futures for light WTI oil by 3.68% to 38,89 dollars per barrel.

MOSCOW, 18 Nov. Oil prices on Wednesday are actively growing by more than 3% after the publication of the data of the Ministry of energy of the USA about unexpected reduction of stocks of raw materials in the country, according to AFP.

As at 18.36 MSK price of January futures for North sea Brent blend has grown on 3,09% — to 41,52 dollars for barrel, the price of December futures for light WTI oil by 3.68% to 38,89 dollars per barrel.

According to the U.S. Department of energy, commercial oil reserves in the country for the week ended December 4, decreased by 3.6 million barrels, or 0.7 percent, to 485,9 million barrels, while analysts, on the contrary, expected, growth of stocks.
