The possibility of establishing economic partnership on the Eurasian continent will be discussed by the Prime Ministers of the member States of the Shanghai cooperation organization, said Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.
MOSCOW, 9 Dec. Prime Ministers of the member States of the Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO) next week will discuss in the PRC, the possibility of establishing economic partnership on the Eurasian continent, said Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.
Earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin in his annual address to the Federal Assembly proposed, together with colleagues in the Eurasian economic Union to begin consultations with members of the SCO and ASEAN on forming a possible economic partnership.
“Next week in China, when you’re a premiere member-States of the SCO, this issue will be subject to be discussed”, — said Shuvalov at a meeting of the President with government members on Wednesday.
He noted that this issue had already been discussed with partners from Kazakhstan, and Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister wrote a letter to the Prime Minister.
