Moscow. December 9. The government this week will discuss the situation in the auto industry, the decline must be stopped, said Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich during the meeting of President Vladimir Putin with government members on Wednesday.
“In addition, the government will this week meeting the definition of other priorities for expenditure from the anti-crisis Fund, this applies primarily to the automobile industry, of course, and the production of agricultural machinery”, – he said.
“We cannot afford further decline of car production in the country. We expect at least to get a fix on that level. Better, of course, grow, but just to prevent further decline. Then we will be able to reach the macroeconomic targets as set out in our forecast,” added the official.
Earlier it was reported that sales of passenger cars and LCV in Russia in November 2015 decreased 42.7% compared with November last year to thousands 131,572. In the first 11 months were sold in the country at 34.5% of cars less, than for the same period a year earlier to 1 million 454 thousand 253 PCs.
