Moscow. December 10. Coca-Cola Hellenic intends to continue working on localization of production of raw materials and packaging for products manufactured at Russian plants, including, for juices and nectars, said the Director of external Affairs and communications at Coca-Cola Hellenic Russia Irina Arkhipova to journalists on Thursday in St. Petersburg.

According to Arkhipova, currently the company is forced to purchase raw materials for juice production abroad, but the complication of economic relations between Russia and a number of countries associated with reciprocal sanctions, did not affect the company’s development strategy in the Russian Federation. “The substitution we started even before the Declaration of this policy,” said Arkhipov.
According to the report Coca-Cola Hellenic on sustainable development last year, in 2014, more than 75% of raw materials for the company’s plants in Russia were bought from Russian suppliers. “In particular, the company over the last 5 years, is increasing its purchases of beet sugar at the Russian manufacturers”, – the report says.
The document also stresses that the company is committed to give preference to local suppliers, annually increasing the share of purchases from them.
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company is the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola in several countries, in Russia is represented by LLC “Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia” and owns factories in Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Orel, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Rostov region, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok.
