MOSCOW, 10 Dec. The government of the Russian Federation from 1 January 2016, all documents will use the key rate of the Bank of Russia is the refinancing rate, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“I signed the document, which concerns also seems to be a point of technical, but nonetheless important — from January 1 next year in all government documents, which was referred to the refinancing rate of the Central Bank, will be used (key — ed.) the rate of the Bank of Russia”, — said Medvedev, speaking at a government meeting on Thursday.
He noted that there are a number of exceptions, including where expressly provided by law.
“Today, the key rate is the main indicator of monetary policy in the country, so this decision… it is completely natural. Would be guided by that,” added the Prime Minister.
At the same time on the website of the RF government was issued the regulation. As noted in the reference to the document, this measure due to a change in the refinancing rate role in the system of Bank of Russia instruments and the introduction from September 13, 2013 as the main indicator of the monetary policy key rate, which earlier in the Russian legislation was not used.
