Moscow. December 10. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed to prohibit the operation of multi-purpose wagons with extended service life in 2016, said Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich at a briefing on Thursday.
“The President instructed to decide on the exclusion at the railway tracks of common use of cars that have expired service life, multi-purpose wagons first of all, including those whose service is extended by using the available mechanisms. That is, the operation of such cars, even if they are “extended,” not possible,” he said.
According to him, relative to other categories of cars “these days work is underway to determine what (cars) will also be subjected to similar extent of the ban, which will remain in operation due to the fact that their production is not established on the territory of the Russian Federation”.
