MOSCOW, 10 Dec. Qiwi group has started work on the European market, releasing the first version e-wallet Qiwi Wallet Europe for the inhabitants of Latvia, have informed in the press service of the organization.
Previously a subsidiary of the group – Qiwi Wallet Europe SIA – licensed market Commission financial and capital (FKTK) in Latvia, which allows you to issue electronic money and provide payment services specified in the license, and also open representative offices on the territory of all EU countries.

Payment service Qiwi currently has more than 149 thousand terminals and points of reception of payments. Trading companies take over the monthly service payments for the sum over 70 billion roubles.

In the third quarter of 2015 the group’s net profit under IFRS decreased by 3% compared to the same period of 2014 and amounted to $ 1,133 billion.
