MOSCOW, 11 Dec. The contribution from the introduction of the system of charging heavy goods vehicles “Plato” in inflation in Russia will not exceed 0.1-0.2 percentage points, said the head of the CBR Elvira Nabiullina.
“What we can calculate, namely the volume of payments, which is taken from the trucks. In our opinion this will give this direct effect on inflation will be within 0,1-0,2 percent,” she said at a press conference.
“Of course, we are not calculating the risks associated with the functioning of commodity chains and so on. But here’s the direct contribution of 0.1-0.2 in our opinion, not more,” — said Nabiullina.
System “Platon” has earned in Russia from November 15. It will charge tolls to trucks carrying more than 12 tons. Now the trucks will pay 1,53 rubles per a kilometer on Federal highways. With 1 March 2016 the fee will amount to 3.06 rubles per kilometer. The money should go to the road Fund in compensation for the destruction of traces of heavy cars.
