MOSCOW, 11 Dec. Low-budget airline “Victory” (subsidiary of “Aeroflot”) has decided to close the sale of tickets in Salzburg because of low demand, said the official representative of the airline.
“The decision to close flights to Salzburg after the 9th of January due to low demand. Just sold 34 tickets. For comparison, in Bergamo (Italy) has sold more than 20 thousand tickets. As in the nearest plans of the airline is not increasing the fleet, and plans for the development of an international network of ambitious, decided to optimize the schedule”, — said the representative of the carrier.
Earlier it was reported that the airline began to sell tickets in Salzburg on December 9 of this year. It was assumed that the flights will be operated on Saturdays from 2 January 2016.
“Victory” was founded on September 16 2014 instead fell under the EU sanctions “Dobrolet”. The first flight loukoster completed December 1, 2014 in Volgograd from the Moscow airport “Vnukovo”. Today the airline flies only domestic routes. By 2018, the carrier’s fleet will consist of nearly 40 aircraft.
