Yamal and Gazprom will continue cooperation


The respective obligations of the government of the region had assumed under the agreement, which was signed by the Governor of district Dmitry Kobylkin and Chairman of the Board “Gazprom” Alexey Miller.

MOSCOW, 11 Dec –. The authorities of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district will continue the implementation of the program of gasification of regions and support the introduction of modern technologies of gas production in the region, said the press officer.

The respective obligations of the government of the region had assumed under the agreement, which was signed by the Governor of district Dmitry Kobylkin and Chairman of the Board “Gazprom” Alexey Miller.

“Both sides have assumed certain obligations, in particular, Gazprom will continue gas supplies and commercial products, and the government of Yamal will ensure timely processing of documents related to the transfer of land from one category to another”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

In addition, the parties will continue comprehensive commercial development of hydrocarbon fields of the Yamal Peninsula and adjacent water areas. “Gazprom” will take part in joint with the government of the district activities and programs aimed at supporting indigenous minorities.

According to Dmitry Kobylkin, with the participation of the company in the Yamal Peninsula today are being built factories and sports complexes, kindergartens and infirmaries, homes and entire neighborhoods.

“They are learning, are treated, thousands of inhabitants of Yamal. Among them – the gas workers and state employees, young professionals and veterans and many others. Special thanks – from the pioneers of the Yamal Peninsula. Now, thanks to our cooperation, they live in worthy conditions”, — said the head of the district at the ceremony of signing the agreement.

In turn, Miller said that the Yamal for “Gazprom” – a resource base. “With the Yamal-Nenets Okrug, we bind their prospects. As for our socio-economic obligations, I want to assure you we will work in this direction”, — said the head of “Gazprom”.
