Moscow. December 14. Belarus from December 14, will pre-notify the Rosselkhoznadzor about all the batches of dairy products exported to Russia.
According to Rosselkhoznadzor, the decision to impose a provisional notification was made based on the results of the Moscow consultations with representatives of the competent services of Belarus. The consultations were devoted to a detailed discussion of the results carried out from 19 to 23 October the specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor’s inspection of Belarusian enterprises for the production of animal products.
“The Belarusian side has confirmed the validity detected by the Rosselkhoznadzor violations and assured that soon will be taken measures on their elimination”, – stated in the message.
According to the report, the Belarusian side noted that this year has strengthened control over the inflow of imported products, which led to a relative decrease of attention to controlled goods produced within the country.
However, given the serious systemic deficiencies detected by the Rosselkhoznadzor that Belarus will take a number of measures to enhance the effectiveness of supervision of animal products supplied to Russia. In particular, we will implement a new plan of state monitoring of imported and produced in Belarus products and raw materials in 2016.
The results of this work will be presented to the Rosselkhoznadzor not later than 15 January 2016. In addition, the Belarusian competent authorities currently conduct inspections of veterinary pharmacies to identify unauthorized sale of metronidazole and other illegal drugs.
Originally planned to enter with notice, on 10 December. However, for technical reasons it was postponed to December 14.
