MOSCOW, 14 Dec –. New poultry farm grows broilers with a design capacity of up to 4.5 thousand tons of meat per year was opened in the Omsk region, according to a press release from the regional government.
“Morozov poultry” as part of the group of companies “RUSKOM-agro” has put into operation in the village of Sosnovka of the Omsk region, new capacity in growing broilers. Investors have built 10 buildings with a total area of 20 thousand square meters with a capacity of 41,4 thousand heads of broiler chicken each and intend to apply advanced technologies in the processes of incubation, rearing and slaughter”, — stated in the message.

Development Director of GC “RUSSIAN” Nikolay Kolokolnikov said at the opening of the poultry farm that the first landing of birds is scheduled for January 11, 2016. “Farm output to design capacity, which is 4.5 thousand tons of broiler meat per year will occur in March 2016. Also in the beginning of next year plans to launch a hatchery with a capacity of 3.6 million broiler eggs per year with the prospect of development of up to five million eggs per year. The project provides for the construction of poultry houses for keeping Turkey breeders and parent stock of broilers,” he quoted in a press-service of the word Kolokol’nikova.
The opening of the poultry farm took part the first Deputy Chairman of the government of the Omsk region Andrey Novoselov, who noted the importance of the new facility for the development of Omsk pticeprom and replenish the food market.
“Hawks give preference to local products, is an indicator of high product quality. Special technologies of poultry breeding the new plant will improve the taste of the meat, make products more competitive with foreign analogues,” — said Novoselov.
As noted in the press release, on the territory of the region there are 11 large poultry farms. In all enterprises is being modernized to increase productivity and improve product quality. As of January 2015, the poultry livestock in the region is 9.6 million head, including in agricultural organizations – 6 million head. The production of poultry meat in all categories of farms amounted to 56,3 thousand tons, including in agricultural organizations – 48 thousand tons.
