One of the largest Russian producers and exporters of petrochemical products “Kazanorgsintez” (enters into group of companies “TAIF”) in 2025 will bring the production of ethylene to 1 million tons and will increase revenues up to 125 billion rubles, said President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on Friday.
“Although the difficulties with raw material supplies, the potential of “Kazanorgsintez” is very serious. The strategy of further development — in 2020 to reach 100 billion rubles of revenue, and in 2025 — up to 125 billion rubles and to increase the production of ethylene to 1 million tons”, — said the President to journalists during his visit to “Kazanorgsintez”.
According to the President of the Republic, it is a very challenging and ambitious task, but it is calculated and based on most modern technologies. “We have been and will remain the largest producer of polyethylene in the country. I am sure that we have good prospects”, — he stressed.
Currently, the capacity of ethylene production at “Kazanorgsintez” is 605,6 thousand tons per year, output loaded at 95%. By the end of 2015 the company plans to receive net profit in the amount of 18.1 billion rubles, which is three times higher than the result of 2014, revenue is expected to reach $ 67 billion rubles (the growth compared to 2014 year — 23%).
PSC “Kazanorgsintez” — one of the largest chemical enterprises in Russia, producing more than 38% of Russian polyethylene and is its largest exporter. The company occupies a leading position in production of gas polyethylene pipes, phenol, acetone, coolants, chemical agents for oil and natural gas drying. Annually “Kazanorgsintez” produces more than 1.6 million tonnes of chemical products of more than 170 items, 27% of production is exported.
The authorized capital of “Kazanorgsintez” — 1,905 billion, the main shareholders: LLC “Telecom-Management” (“daughter” of “TAIF”) — 53,04 %, OJSC “Svyazinvestneftekhim” — 26,64 % of the share capital.
