The customs services of the SCO will continue cooperation in the years 2016-2021


Following the meeting of the Council of heads of governments of member States of the organization agreed on further work on creation of the SCO development Bank and development Fund.

ZHENGZHOU (China), 15 Dec. The customs services of member States of the Shanghai cooperation organization will continue its engagement in the 2016-2021 years, the programme was signed during the meeting of the Council of heads of governments of States-SCO members.

Among other approved documents — decision on the earmarking of funds for the establishment of protected information and telecommunication system communication between the competent authorities of the SCO countries.

Also following the meeting, the parties agreed on further work to establish the development Bank of the Shanghai cooperation organization and Fund development.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and first Deputy head of the government of Uzbekistan.

The SCO Secretary-General Dmitry Mezentsev and Deputy UN Secretary-General Shamshad Akhtar signed a Memorandum of understanding between the SCO Secretariat and the Secretariat of the economic and social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
