Moscow. December 15. Industrial production in Russia in November 2015 fell 3.5% compared with November 2014, after falling 3.6% in October, has informed on Tuesday Rosstat.
In September, industrial production fell 3.7% in August to 4.3% in July to 4.7% in June to 4.8% in may to 5.5% in April – by 4.5%, in March – by 0.6%, in February by 1.6%. In January the industrial output increased by 0.9% in January.
The decline in industry in November were much worse than expectations of economists who had forecast a decline of 2.8% (according to the consensus forecast compiled by Interfax).
With the exception of seasonal and calendar factors industrial production in November was again decreased (-0,6%), as a month earlier (by 0.2%). In October, a negative figure was recorded after the first six months of growth (in September +0.6 per cent). If in September there were as many working days as in the corresponding month last year, in October – one less.
In January-November of 2015 the industrial output in Russia decreased by 3.3% compared with the corresponding period of 2014.
The production of passenger cars in Russia in January 2015 amounted to 1.2 million units, which is 23.6% less than the year before.
Car production in November 2015, compared to November 2014 fell by 22.2%.
Truck production for the 11 months amounted to 116 thousand units, which is 16.2% less than the previous year (November to November – a growth of 6.3%).
The production of buses in January-November 2015 fell by 17.1%, to 32.4 thousand units (November to November – a fall of 20.8%).
