Moscow. December 15. The requirement of China to supply grain from Russia in the bags pointless, believes the Deputy head of Rosselkhoznadzor Nikolai Vlasov.
“This is an absolutely senseless condition, which aims to make Russian grain less competitive on the Chinese market”, – said Vlasov at a meeting of the Commission for agriculture in the RSPP on Tuesday.
According to him, Chinese experts “clung” to quarantine objects, “which supposedly can crawl into the grain, supplied loose”.
As reported, the bilateral Protocol between Russia and China on the supply of grain, which is planned to be signed before the end of the year, provides that the grain should be supplied only in bags and only from declared regions.
In particular, wheat, China is ready to buy in the Altai and Krasnoyarsk edges, Novosibirsk and Omsk areas, corn, soybeans and rice – in the Khabarovsk, Primorye and TRANS-Baikal territories, Amur region and Jewish Autonomous region, the rapeseed – from the Siberian and far Eastern districts.
In 2014, Russia supplied China with 150 thousand tons of leguminous crops, mainly soybeans. This year exports may increase up to 300 thousand tons.
