Fridman’s L1 has bought oil and gas production assets of E. ON in Norway


Moscow. December 16. DEA Deutsche Erdoel, which belongs to the Russian LetterOne Mikhail Fridman, has completed the transaction of purchasing 100% Norwegian subsidiary E. ON – E. ON E&P Norge AS, said in a statement.

As a result, the production of DEA Deutsche Erdoel will grow more than twice – up to 75 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day.

E. ON E&P Norge AS owns 43 licenses in the North sea, the Norwegian sea and the Barents sea.

DEA is currently owned 74 licenses in Norway.

L1 was established by the owners of “Alfa-group” after the sale of TNK-BP in 2013. The structure was invested in more than $15 billion L1 bought this year were included in the company RWE Dea oil and gas assets.
