Putin: government will not rush with adjustments to the budget-2016

MOSCOW, 17 Dec. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated that Russian authorities do not hurry with adjustments to the budget in 2016 because of the volatility of oil prices.

According to him, the government expects in 2016 to reach a growth of 0.7% in 2017, 1.9% in 2018 and 2.4%. Putin noted that these figures are calculated based on $ 50 per barrel, now it is below. Volatility, he added, is very large.

“We will not hurry with the updates and with adjustments to the budget, because it, firstly, entails a reduction in funding and in the social sphere and the real sector”, — said Putin. —0-
