Moscow. December 17. Rosneft does not expect reduction of hydrocarbon production in 2016 relative to this year, told reporters the head of oil company Igor Sechin. According to him, the company’s budget been drawn up based on oil prices of $45 per barrel.
“In 2016 the fall production of hydrocarbons “Rosneft” will not” – he said.
He recalled that this year the company intends to maintain oil production at the level of 2014. In 2014 Rosneft produced 205 million tons of oil and 60 billion cubic meters of gas.
Currently, oil remains the lowest marks for a few years – from February 2009 to WTI, with the end of 2008 – for Brent. The cost of the February futures for Brent crude on London’s ICE Futures exchange to 8:55 MSK decreased by $0,26 (0,70%) – to $37,13 per barrel.
The head of the CBR Elvira Nabiullina said last Friday that declining oil prices makes it more urgent risk scenario with oil prices at $40 for the next three years, but the regulator is not going to adjust their estimates.
Finance Minister Anton Siluanov earlier suggested that in 2016 the price of oil in certain periods can drop to $30.
