Russia gave Guinea as humanitarian aid 16 KAMAZ


Humanitarian assistance provided to strengthen the health system of Guinea after the Ebola epidemic. Among the delivered trucks are the vehicles with medical modules and with CMU Palfinger.

MOSCOW, 17 Dec. Russia gave Guinea as a humanitarian aid consignment of KAMAZ trucks worth over 2.5 million dollars, the press service of the company on Thursday.

“We’re talking about 16 KAMAZ trucks, including vehicles with medical units, vehicles with CMU Palfinger, mobile repair shop and bowsers, as well as three containers of medical supplies and spare parts to cars”, — stated in the message.

Humanitarian aid provided through the EMERCOM and the international organization of civil protection to strengthen the health system of Guinea after the Ebola epidemic.

Russia attaches great importance to the provision of humanitarian assistance to countries in crisis, said Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia Guinea, Alexander Bregadze, whose words are given in the message.

In the beginning, the government of the Russian Federation granted from the Federal budget of 8 million dollars to fight Ebola in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. This money must help to ensure security in West Africa and to mitigate the economic impact from the spread of Ebola.
