Russian-Chinese investment Fund has approved 15 transactions at $5 billion


BEIJING, December 17. /Corr. Oleg Trutnev/. Russian-Chinese investment Fund (RCIF) has approved 15 transactions between companies from Russia and China in the amount of $5 billion.

This was stated to journalists the General Director of the Russian direct investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev.

“Today we have already approved 15 transactions. Total investment – $5 billion,” he said.

“It is very important to increase Chinese investment in the Russian economy, and Russian companies expanding presence in China,” – said Dmitriev.

“We have signed a very important agreement between CITIC and the Emergence of the “Renaissance” that together we will help Russian companies in the markets of China and more actively participate in the Renminbi (the official name of the yuan),” said the head of RDIF.

Russian-Chinese investment Fund established in 2012 jointly by RDIF and China investment Corporation.
