The draft law on free provision of land is aimed at the development of the Far East, said state Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin.
MOSCOW, 17 Dec. The state Duma will consider in the first reading in the plenary session on Friday the government’s draft law on free provision of land in the far East, informed the journalists the state Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin.
“The second bill, too important, resonant draft law on the so-called far East of the hectare, in the first reading we will look into it tomorrow. The bill is aimed at the development of the Far East”, — said Naryshkin on the results of Duma Council on Thursday.
The bill “About features of granting land plots for far Eastern Federal district” proposes to establish the procedure and conditions of free of charge once the Russians land area of one hectare in the far East, being in state or municipal property for all purposes not prohibited by law.
Earlier, the Deputy Minister for development of the Far East Kirill Stepanov explained that the first land granted for free use for 5 years, then rented or donated property subject to the use of land.
Several people can join and get a plot of land over 1 hectare, “that is, in proportion to the number of citizens”, he said.
In accordance with the draft law, foreign citizens and foreign companies or stateless persons, the land will not be given.
