VEB repaid the syndicated loan of $800 million


Moscow. December 17. The Bank has repaid its syndicated loan from foreign banks for $800 million, according to the VEB.

“The necessary resources accumulated in full, the obligations performed properly”, – said the representative of the Bank.

This loan the Bank attracted in December 2012 at a rate of 6-month LIBOR + 1.4% per annum.

The syndicate was attended by Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFG, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citibank, Commerzbank, Credit Agricole CAIB, Deutsche Bank, London Branch, HSBC, ING, J. P. Morgan, Mizuho Corporate Bank. The deal was also attended by Societe Generale and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Coordinator and paying agent of the syndicated loan is the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFG.

Brought in December 2012, VEB resources planned to be used for refinancing the syndicated loan, borrowed in January 2010 and the investment Bank.
