Today Belarus buys gas from Russia at a price of dollar’s 142.4 per thousand cubic meters. In 2016 the Belarusian side hopes that the amount will be reduced by more than $10.
MINSK, 18 Dec. Alexei Bukchin. Minsk hopes to cut the price of Russian gas in 2016 more than 10 dollars, said to journalists by the Deputy Minister of energy of the Republic of Vadim Zakrevsky.
At present Belarus buys Russian gas at the dollar’s 142.4 per thousand cubic meters.
“I hope more than 10 (dollars of the price per thousand cubic meters), said Zakrevsky.
“What we have reason to talk about it — it’s a fact,” he added.
In turn, first Deputy Director General of Belenergo Alexander Sivak informed that Belarus is planning in 2016 to get from Russia for 2.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
Earlier Vice-Premier of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said that Belarus expects to agree about reduction of prices on Russian gas until December 21.
