MOSCOW, December 18. The topic of relations with Turkey can be raised on the summits of the EAEC and the CSTO on December 21. This was announced by the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
“Relations are very sorry”: Vladimir Putin has accused Ankara of abetting terrorists
“I do not exclude that Turkish subject, and at another meeting (summit of the EAEC and the CSTO) to varying degrees, will be discussed, as this topic is very important. And I assume that leaders of other countries will be interested in our position, to clarify some details and considerations to make,” said Ushakov.
“Turkish theme would probably be (to be discussed at the summits), since it is now very popular… I think that inevitably it will be discussed”, – said Ushakov.
“Moreover, the representatives of several countries had after the incident with our bomber contacts with the Turks and they are some of his views will make, in this context,” says assistant to the President.
Ushakov did not disclose the details of the “sensitive issues” on which the Russian Federation before the incident with SU-24 went toward Turkey, but said that the leaders of the two countries Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan discussed this in Antalya with eye-to-eye.
“The issue is very sensitive… a sensitive Topic and I wouldn’t want to dwell on the subject, – said the representative of the Kremlin to journalists. She has been the subject of bilateral discussions in Antalya, and this theme was in this mode, a “tete-a-tete”.
Answering a request to disclose the details of this topic, about which Putin mentioned yesterday during the press conference, Ushakov said: “to Go deep means to disclose the details of this issue, that I would not like to do.”
“Resentment against Ankara too strong”: the media about a press conference of the President of the Russian Federation
While chatting with the press the Russian President on Thursday said that when dealing with Turkish authorities on the sidelines of a summit of the group of twenty in Antalya in mid-November Turkish colleagues put “very sensitive issues that do not fit in the context of international law by the decisions that the Turkish party offers”.
“We said, “Yes, we understand and are ready to help you”. If we showed that we are ready to cooperate on a very sensitive issue for Turkey questions, is it difficult to remove the tube or by pre-existing channels of cooperation between the military to say: on the border of the plot we haven’t spoken, but here too there are our interests. Keep in mind, we ask what, then, is not to strike. But nobody haven’t said anything”, – Putin outlined the situation, speaking about the relations between the two countries after Turkish air force shot down over the Syrian territory of the Russian SU-24.
