VLADIVOSTOK, December 20. Russia cannot “give at the mercy” of the Ukrainian nationalists the Russian-speaking residents of Donbass. This was stated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in interview for the documentary “the world Order” on TV channel “Russia 1”.

He reminded that with the implementation of the Minsk agreements often link and the extension of the sanctions of the West against Russia. “Well, listen, we have to do to accept the changes to the Constitution (of Ukraine to perform “Minsk-2″ – approx.)? No, of course”, – said Putin.

In his words, and everyone understands this, “but I think I need a little bit to put pressure on Russia to something somewhere lost”.

“This isn’t our job to step in there somewhere or on something to insist. But we assume only one: that we cannot leave to the mercy of the nationalists those people who in the South-East of the country reside. And not only Russian, but also Russian-speaking population, which focuses on Russia”, – said the President of the Russian Federation, adding that “there is nothing redundant in this position.”
