The head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert during his visit to Tehran to hold talks with the head of the Veterinary organization of Iran Mehdi Aladjem. They will discuss topical issues of cooperation between the countries.
MOSCOW, 20 Dec. The head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert within the framework of his visit to Tehran to discuss with the head of the Veterinary organization of Iran Mehdi Aladjem questions, including concerning mutual supplies of meat and milk, according to the website of the Russian Agency on Sunday.
In may this year, the Rosselkhoznadzor allowed deliveries six Iranian companies — four production of dairy products and two factories for the production of poultry, subject to the signing of additional agreements on food security. However, until now these agreements have not been reached.
“The head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert will visit Iran (city of Tehran) in the period from 22 to 24 December 2015. During the visit Sergey Dankvert will hold talks with the head of the Veterinary organization of Iran Mehdi Halhjem to discuss topical issues of cooperation, including mutual deliveries of meat and dairy group”, — stated in the message.
Previously Dankvert reported that the end of the year the Rosselkhoznadzor expects to complete the process of matching the supply of cheese from Iran. According to him, Iran had signed preliminary documents and specified responsibilities for delivery.
