Businessmen of Russia and Sudan signed an agreement on establishment of the Council


The Russian side, in particular, expressed the need for Sudanese products such as meat, vegetables and fruit, said the Deputy head of the Sudanese businessmen Union Ahmed Yousef.

KHARTOUM, 21 Dec. Russian and Sudanese businessmen at the forum in Khartoum signed an agreement to establish a joint Council for development of economic cooperation between the two countries.

“We with the Russian Council of entrepreneurs signed an agreement on cooperation between businessmen of the two countries, which will created a joint Council. We look forward to good relations with Russian businessmen in the question of our export”, — said the Agency Sputnik, the Deputy head of the Sudanese businessmen Union Ahmed Yousef.

According to him, the Russian side, in particular, expressed the need for Sudanese products such as meat, vegetables and fruit. “We, in turn, would benefit from cooperation in the field of mining, oil and gas industries, in the transfer of Russian technology to the Sudan. We expect that companies from both sides will work in the interests of the two countries, I hope that the government will support what we come in for the revitalization of the economy,” he added.

Third session of the Ministerial Committee of the Sudan and the Russian Federation on cooperation in trade and economic sphere has opened in the Sudanese capital on Saturday. The Russian delegation was headed by the Minister of natural resources and ecology Sergey Donskoy, it also includes more than 50 representatives of public and private sector. The Chairman of the Sudanese side was the Minister of mineral resources Ahmed al-Karuri. The country also represent the leaders in the number of economic ministries and businessmen. The event session will last four days.
