Japanese Nomura invests $1 billion in American Century Investments

Moscow. December 21. The biggest broker company of Japan Nomura Holdings plans to invest about $1 billion to buy roughly 40% stake in the American management company American Century Investments, the newspaper Nikkei, citing sources.

Investment of such amount will be the largest for Nomura since the global financial crisis.

The official representative of the Japanese firm declined to comment, reported Bloomberg.

Nomura is the largest brokerage company in Japan. American Century Investments founded in 1958, is a private investment firm.
