The Ministry of communications: landline telephone in the Crimea will be cheaper


Calls between Sevastopol and the rest of the Crimean Federal district will cease to be long distance and will be equal to intra with a corresponding simplification of the procedure of passing traffic, said the Ministry.

MOSCOW, 21 Dec. The Ministry of communications and mass communications of Russia has approved new requirements to the procedure of passing traffic in fixed telephone networks on the territory of Crimea, which will lead to lower prices, the Ministry said on Monday.

“In accordance with the new order calls between Sevastopol and the rest of the Crimean Federal district will cease to be long distance and will be equal to intra with a corresponding simplification of the procedure of passing traffic. The change should lead to a reduction in tariffs to these challenges”, — stated in the message.

According to the published order will be considered intra zone telephone connection between user equipment operating in area codes numbering “365” (Crimea) and “869” (Sevastopol).
