Moscow. December 22. The state Duma at session on Tuesday has considered initiated by the President the bill for the suspension of the Treaty on free trade zone (FTZ) in respect of Ukraine, and all four parliamentary factions have expressed support for this decision.
Voting will take place at the evening session of the chamber (17:00 MSK), and it is expected that the law will be passed in the first reading and in General.
December 16, Vladimir Putin signed a decree suspending from January 1 next year, the Treaty on free trade zone on Ukraine “in view of exceptional circumstances affecting the interests and economic security of the Russian Federation and require urgent measures”.
