For operative reception of statements of citizens and the fastest possible payout to them of compensation on deposits DIA intends to use agent banks, the report of the Agency for Deposit insurance.
MOSCOW, 22 Dec. Payouts to insured depositors of Vneshprombank in respect of which the Central Bank on Tuesday introduced introduced a three-month moratorium on satisfaction of creditors ‘ claims will begin on 11 January, according to the Agency for Deposit insurance (DIA).
Previously on the website of the Central Bank it was reported that payments to depositors, including private entrepreneurs, will begin no later than 14 days from the date of introduction of the moratorium. A moratorium was introduced on 22 December.
“For operational reception of statements of citizens and the fastest possible payout to them of compensation on deposits DIA intends to use the agent banks. In accordance with the decision of the Board of ACB such agent banks will be selected on a competitive basis, not later than 28 December 2015”, — stated in the message.
The Bank of Russia from December 18, appointed a temporary administration in Russia for six months in connection with a reduction of own funds and breach of mandatory ratios set by the Central Bank. The primary task of the interim administration is to conduct a survey of the financial situation of the credit institution. Earlier, a source in banking circles informed about the disconnection of the Bank from the “Bank electronic urgent payments” (BESP).
By total assets, according to RIA Rating, the Bank held on October 1, 2015 37-e a place in Russia’s banking system.
