Khloponin: manufacturers of Crimean wines will not suffer from US sanctions, “we will get more”

MOSCOW, December 23. Manufacturers of Crimean wines will not suffer due to the introduction on Tuesday of U.S. sanctions. About it journalists were reported by the Deputy Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Alexander Khloponin.

“I’m not sure they (the US – approx.) the enormous quantities consumed our Crimean wines, which are, of course, have a huge history and very good quality. I think they (USA) will lose. And if you don’t want (Crimean wines), it’s more for us”, – he said.

On December 22, the United States expanded the list of Russian individuals and entities sanctioned in connection with the conflict in Ukraine. In particular, the “Crimean” list was completed by three of the winery, including “Massandra”, “Novy Svet” and “Magarach”, Azov wine-vodka factory.

The Director of “Massandra” Yanina Pavlenko told today that the management of the SOEs are not going through because of the sanctions. According to her, the introduction of “Massandry” in the sanctions list is absolutely not affect the activity of the company, which increases production and sales.
