American Corporation Google develops new app for messaging between users, which should compete with similar services offered by, in particular, company Facebook. This is stated in an article published Tuesday in the electronic version of the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal.
According to the newspaper’s sources, Google expects the new app will feature that allows to ask the program a question and get an answer prepared on the basis of information she found on the Internet. Thus, the main purpose of the program will be sending and receiving text messages.
Not yet clear when Google intends to introduce a new service, as well as her name. “In addition, it is unclear whether this attempt more successful than those that we may have taken earlier”, – the newspaper notes.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the new app for about a year and directs the Vice President of Google products relevant to communications, Nick Fox. According to the newspaper, the programs which allows you to exchange messages, are among the most popular in the world, in total they use about 2 billion people.
Service from Google, as the newspaper notes, will compete with programs such as WhatsApp from Facebook, and is also very popular in China, WeChat from Tencent.
