Russia will pay Abkhazia as part of the investment of 4.7 billion rubles


Under current financial assistance on December 1, 2015, Abkhazia has received 1.9 billion rubles, said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin.

MOSCOW, 23 Dec. The Russian Federation will transfer Abkhazia 4.7 billion rubles in 2016 in the framework of the investment program to promote socio-economic development of the Republic, said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin.

“In the framework of the investment program in 2016, we are scheduled 35 events on the total amount of 4.7 billion rubles. Here I must note that this amount is significantly higher than previous years, we will need to work hard together in order to effectively absorb these funds,” said Khloponin at the 11-th meeting of the intergovernmental Commission between Russia and Abkhazia.

He also said that under the current financial assistance on December 1 of this year, Abkhazia has received 1.9 billion.

“Under the current financial assistance on December 1, 2015 the Republic included more than 1.9 billion rubles, which is about 87% of the annual limit”, — he added.
