The head of the Republic said that he had repeatedly invited Western experts to conduct an experiment – to go to any village in the region and ask people how they live in the Russian Crimea. He noted that while such a step no one agreed.

KRASNOYARSK/SIMFEROPOL, 24 Dec. The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov called a pack of lies information, case Western monitoring groups about the oppression of the Crimean Tatars.

“A pack of lies. It’s saying some figures that never in the Crimea”, — said Aksenov on the TV channel NTV.

According to him, he repeatedly suggested that the Western experts and journalists to conduct an experiment – to go to any of the Crimean village on the choice and ask the people how they live in the Russian Crimea.

“I think 9 out of 10 will say that you voted correctly, and even if you had to vote 100 times it made”, — said Aksenov.

The head of Crimea noted that while such an experiment, no one agreed.

The West have repeatedly accused the Crimean authorities of violating human rights, particularly the oppression of the Crimean Tatars, claiming about threats, harassment, attacks on dissent. The Kremlin said that the accusations against Russia of violating the rights of the Crimean Tatars do not have any basis and do not reflect the real state of Affairs.

Crimea and Sevastopol became part of Russia following the results of the March referendum in 2014. Reunification with Russia was supported by 96,77% of Crimeans and 95.6% of Sevastopol. The authorities of Ukraine and Western countries refused to recognize the will of the people and has imposed sanctions in the region.
