Russia and India signed a number of documents, including on the simplification of travel


Signed, in particular, the Protocol on amending the agreement between Russia and India on simplification of conditions of mutual trips of separate categories of citizens.

MOSCOW, 24 Dec. Russia and India signed a package of documents following the talks of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of India Narendra modi, including on simplification of conditions of mutual trips of separate categories of citizens.

In particular, the sides signed a Protocol on amending the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of India on simplification of conditions of mutual trips of separate categories of citizens of the two countries on 21 December 2010 and the Protocol on amendments to agreement between governments of two countries about mutual trips of owners diplomatic and service passports dated 3 December 2004.

JSC “Digital television” (DTV JSC) and Indian state broadcaster “Prasar Bharati” concluded a Memorandum on cooperation in the field of broadcasting.

In addition, following Russian-Indian talks in Moscow adopted a joint statement on preparation of projects of contracts on the manufacture of military products and combat terrorism.
