VTSIOM: ultra-high level of approval of Putin kept for a year and a half


MOSCOW, December 24. The level of approval of work of Vladimir Putin on a post of the President of the Russian Federation is kept at high level (86-89%) and a half years. This was reported on Thursday to journalists the General Director of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM) Valery Fedorov.

“Throughout the year, the level of approval of Vladimir Putin as President was stable and consistently high. The fluctuations were, but very insignificant, between 86% and 89%”, – he reminded.

Fedorov pointed out, that the plateau of “ultra-high ratings of Putin” runs from may 2014, about a year and a half.

The level of approval of work of Dmitry Medvedev as head of government, according to VTSIOM, stable and fluctuated during the year from 67% to 72%.

At the same time, according to polls, only half of Russians approve of the work of the state Duma and the Federation Council. “The two houses are very similar approval rating. The state Duma from 48% approving began in January and finishing the year with 51%,” – said Fedorov.

The Federation Council, the amplitude of vibrations is approximately the same – 47 to 51%, he informed.

Fedorov noted that the level of support for parties in General fluctuated this year between 43% in January and 47% in December. “From 26% to 36% varied level of support to the opposition,” he added, explaining that in this survey the respondents were free to invest in the concept of the opposition of different meanings.

The President’s approval rating
